20-Amp Charger Recovers Batteries Thought To Be Dead & Useless

Finally, there is a way you can recover dead lead-acid batteries that up until now were thought to be beyond saving. Presenting the Pulse Charger/World Version, the most effective battery charger available and winner of the Innovation Award for Service Shop Equipment at IMTEC (National Marine Trade Exhibition & Conference)

This revolutionary charger is a necessity for any facility that services battery problems, including service shops, fleet maintenance departments and garages. It actually combines four chargers in one. It is a state-of-the-art charging system (up to 20 amps) that works with both 12-volt conventional flooded lead-acid batteries and sealed “maintenance-free” batteries, including gel cell. Plus, it also works off either 110- or 220-volt ac power so it can be used virtually anywhere in the world.

Recover Dead, Sulfated Batteries

The Pulse Charger also has the ability to recover dead batteries. This patented unit uses our revolutionary ReNew-IT Pulse Technology™ to safely prevent the main cause of battery problems and failure: sulfation buildup on lead-acid battery plates. Tested and used extensively by the U.S. Military worldwide for almost ten years, this technology has been scientifically proven by two major universities to make batteries work harder and last longer than you ever thought possible. By removing the lead-sulfate deposits on the battery plates, active material is exposed which allows the dead battery to once again accept and release energy.

In the past, even the most sophisticated chargers have had little or no success charging batteries with sulfation buildup. But now the Pulse Charger solves this age-old problem. Using pulse technology, it emits a pulsating dc current into the battery that re-energizes and removes the lead sulfate deposits from the plates, then returns them to the battery acid as active electrolyte. By "cleaning" the battery plates, the Pulse Charger enables dead batteries to once again accept a charge.

Improve Battery Performance

It also helps ensure battery performance, increase battery life dramatically and reduce battery-related downtime, maintenance and costs. Plus it even helps protect the environment. Since batteries last longer, there will be less contamination from leads and sulfuric acid leaking from discarded batteries.

The Pulse Charger is voltage regulated and microprocessor controlled. This unique system will provide all the charge a battery will accept regardless of the rated amp-hour capacity or rated cold cranking amps. It will charge each 12-volt battery to it's optimum level by constantly monitoring the battery and adjusting the charging current accordingly. Then, it automatically switches to Pulse Only mode when the battery reaches full charge so it will never harm the battery.

The Pulse Charger also includes a switch in back for sealed gel cell lead-acid batteries. On this setting, non-vented batteries can be safely charged. It also has two settings: Pulse & Charge and Pulse Only. Since all batteries (even new ones) have some level of sulfation buildup, the Pulse Only setting will clean the plates. The Pulse & Charge setting will then charge the battery while continuing to clean the plates.
